Longhorn Steakhouse was founded in 1981 in Georgia by George McKerrow, Jr. The American casual dining restaurant chain serves customers a cuisine of steaks, burgers, chicken, and salads. The restaurant also offers a full bar. Inside each store is a Western/Texan theme, fully outfitted with oil paintings, photos, and select Western souvenirs. The chain is now owned by Darden Restaurants. Today, there are 435 locations in 35 states.
